Currency conversion can help you from breaking the bank while traveling abroad.
If you’ve ever been in a situation where you’ve either spent all of your vacation money before the end of your trip and had to dig into your stash of emergency cash (hey, that rhymed LOL), or you decide to pay for something in your home currency and received your change back in the currency of the country you’re visiting, it can be a headache trying to figure out if you received the correct amount of money back. That’s why I recommend converting your set amount of vacation money (see my post on budgeting your vacation dollars) prior to leaving for vacation.
There are a lot of helpful online currency calculator’s (I like XE’s Currency Converter – you can download their app or simply go to XE.com)
