Where it all started.  My love for traveling.  2007 ‘twas the year to be exact.  A trip to Maui that changed my entire view on life.  Everything I thought I’d only see on TV was actually right there in front my eyes, beneath my feet, and within reach.

I couldn’t believe my eyes.  My first view of the crystal clear turquoise ocean and immaculate white sky overlooking the horizon was that of a professional shot one would see on the cover of a magazine.  I was hooked and couldn’t wait to get out and explore this new world I was in.

The Ka’anapali Beach Club (aka The Big Pink Hotel as the locals called it), was amaze-ballz!  Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone planning to visit Maui.  The rooms were well-kept, with amazing views of the resort and of course, the beach!  The food was sooooo delish!  I don’t think I came across anything I didn’t like while there, and I’m a very picky eater.  And that luau – OH…EM…GEE!  I thought I was watching a Broadway show as the story was being told through their traditional song and hula dance.  I found myself so enthralled watching that I had stopped taking pictures; it was like I was hypnotized for a moment.

Exploring the island and its beautiful scenery of natural surroundings, made me want to capture as many images as I possibly could.  I snapped and snapped away at each and every exotic flower as I walked by the never-ending full of color gardens, historic architecture, and every other thing I found fascinating.

I can go on and on about how beautiful it truly was, but in no way can I do it any justice just talking about it, you just have to see it for yourself.  So if by chance you have the opportunity to visit, don’t pass it up.  You will not be disappointed.  It’s worth every penny.  Hint, hint. 😉
